An intact relationship is the foundation. I was so curious about this book, so I researched it online. Coincidentally, a friend of mine had told me that she had read "On Becoming Babywise" and has had success with her 4 month old. I realise this is a risky business! NOTE: I was in no way compensated for reviewing On Becoming Babywise. She probably explains this method far better than I ever could. Today John and I started something new - trying to put the twins on more of a set schedule. On Becoming Babywise by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam can be summarized as thus: Babies sense parental conflict, even in the tacit sense. Recently one of my friends asked me if I had read "On Becoming Babywise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep" by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam. The alternate version, On Becoming Babywise, is the secular edition, written by the same people but with all the God stuff taken out. Having now finished this baby stage of life, I thought I would return to it for a moment and review BabyWise.
